Data Retention Policy

Last updated: July 22, 2026

This policy summarizes how long DryAudio keeps operational data.

1. Uploaded and generated audio

Input and output audio is temporary and is normally deleted after download, job expiry or within up to 7 days, whichever applies under the active product flow. Earlier deletion may occur. DryAudio is not a backup or archive service.

2. Account and billing records

Account, subscription, invoice and transaction records may be retained for the life of the account and longer where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes or legal compliance.

3. Technical and security logs

Limited logs may be retained for troubleshooting, security, abuse prevention and service integrity. Retention is limited to what is reasonably necessary for those purposes.

4. Support and legal records

Support messages, copyright notices and dispute records may be retained while needed to respond and for applicable limitation or compliance periods.

5. Backups and deletion

Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove every encrypted backup copy. Backup copies are isolated and expire through normal rotation. Legal holds may temporarily delay deletion.
